SYMPATHETIC OPHTHALMIA
Diffuse granulomatous inflammation of the uveal layer of both eyes following trauma to one eye. It can leave the affected person completely blind. Results from delayed hypersensitivity reaction. (This was Rogers V. Whitaker case where ophthalmologist got the bejesus sued out of him for not mentioning it as risk factor)
